The Independent Windrush Commissioner confirmed the membership of his new Advisory Board in an announcement published on 25 September 2026.
The board includes people with experience in advocacy, race equality, legal work and community engagement. It is intended to provide the Commissioner with advice, evidence and challenge.
The announcement makes clear that the board does not decide individual claims, represent every Windrush victim or replace support organisations.
